At Great Big Adventures we are passionate about the outdoors and so are our three children! Outdoor play is so important for children’s development and we want to create lots of opportunities for children to have adventures in the outdoors. Most adventurous activities are reserved for children over 8 years old and they only happened once in a while. We want to give all children (and their parents/carers) an opportunity for an outdoor adventure every week right on their doorstep.
We are also passionate about supporting schools and nurseries in fulfilling the expectations of the Learning Outside the Classroom Manifesto by providing inspiring, creative outdoor adventures that are linked directly to the curriculum.
We offer everything from ‘Toddler Adventures’ to adventurous birthday parties; from National Navigation Awards to parent and child adventure days; and a wide range of schools programmes.
